Giving where we can

Our mission to inspire transformation in people goes beyond our corporate goals and into the hearts of communities. We are proud of our multi-cultural workforce at Quadmark, and we have visibility into the lack of resources experienced by aid organizations both in Singapore and neighboring countries. This is how we’ve been pulling together to help:

Enabling migrant education

At the Aidha10 Anniversary Party which Quadmark helped to sponsor.

We empower Singapore’s foreign domestic helpers through Aidha, a school that provides entrepreneurship, communications and computer courses to low-income migrant workers. Quadmarkers have joined Aidha’s various fund raising activities over the years, such as the 100km bike ride, and the Aidha 10 Anniversary celebration. Quadmarkers have also sent their helpers to study with Aidha.

Sharing time, skills and resources

We saw the need for orphans in Indonesia to receive quality care. Through creative and collaborative work, we’ve been able to produce marketing materials for ReAct.

At home and abroad

ReAct and some of the youths it supports in Bali, Indonesia visit the Quadmark office to bring their tokens of appreciation.

We continue to support the work done by ReAct in Indonesia by participating in their Singapore-based events.

Getting dirty to make a difference

UK consultant, Callum Lundie, regularly participates in sporting activities to raise money for charity. Some of the organisations he has supported include Bloodwise, McMillian Cancer Support and Alzheimer’s Society.

This year, he has achieved 36 challenges with a total of 1007.8km run and 15,293m climbed! Quadmark is sponsoring him to help him reach his new goal and contribute to fight illnesses.

Our words, their needs

Quadmark supports ReAct by volunteering our expertise in content development and project management. We’re also giving them assistance in building their aid network.

From destruction to construction

One world, one race, one goal – Quadmarkers take a well-earned breather after the Run-To-Build event.

We realized the urgency to rebuild the homes of Typhoon Haiyan survivors in the Philippines. Through employee-engagement activities, we were able to extend funding to Gawad Kalinga.

Small change for a big cause

Quadmarkers rallied to gather leftover foreign currency coins during our ‘Loose Change for Charity’ drive for the Changi Foundation. The foundation supports thousands of disadvantaged youths through a variety of programmes and initiatives.

From baking to building

One of the “Food for homes” lunch sessions at the Quadmark office.

"Food for homes" was a simple, fortnightly lunch initiative that ran from November to January 2013. It’s aim was to raise funds for the reconstruction of homes for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. The budding chefs among us brought home-cooked dishes for office buffets, while everyone else put in amounts as donations. We raised more than S$3000.

Efforts to raise funds for the rebuilding of the Typhoon Haiyan victims’ homes continued through various “Bake sales” from January to July 2014.
